Uri Switzerland

After getting kicked out of the hostel in Disentis cause of some minor confusion and overbooking we called up our new friend Steffy and Mattias in Seedorf, a small town at the southern end of Lake Luzern. They picked us up at the train station when we arrive around 9pm, bussed us to their house and then walked over to Steffy's parents house for big trays of sliced meat, cheese and wine. It is nice to be in a family atmosphere after traveling on your own. We spent about a week with Steffy, Mattias and their two little cats "Jamie & Bella" in their flat in Seedorf hanging out driving around a Skoda Stationwagen seeing some sites and learning that Switzerland roots are in the Lake Luzern area, good old William Tell saved the world and started the country in the late 13th century. The weather was not that great for a couple days so we went for a walk and drive, as well as checking out the nearby town of Altdorf, Uri. Here are a couple pictures to get an idea of the area, with clouds, ha! The castle was built in the 1200's complete with a wall garden and surrounding mote, pretty sick it is now a very fancy restaurant. The tower is a monument to William Tell in downtown Altdorf.
Cheers!
